As part of a $1.48 billion project, a vehicle assembly plant underwent a renovation. The new chilled water system for its Energy Center operates at an average system efficiency of 0.42 kW/ton (0.12 kW/kW). It achieves a 45% reduction in annual power consumption and operating costs over baseline conditions.
