JIS X 5003:1987 (R2014)

This Japanese Industrial Standard describes the reference model of open systems interconnection, hereinafter referred to as the 'osi'. It establishes a framework for coordinating the development of existing and future standards for the interconnection of systems and is provided for reference by those standards. This standards does not specify services and protocols of osi. It is neither an implementation specification for systems, nor a basis for apprasing the conformance of implementations.
