TIA COMPONENT SET

Description / Abstract: This focused set of TIA Standards specifies the minimum performance requirements for the cable and components of structured data/phone cabling systems. Standards for copper (Category) cables, optical fiber cables, coaxial cables, and connectors, are included. These Standards specify the components that are used to construct generic telecommunications cabling for a multi product, multi vendor environment and are the foundation for telecommunications cabling infrastructure throughout the world.
